Where the Heck is Yucca Fountain Screenprinting
In partnership with the UW Art Museum, Sunshine Coffee, and visiting artists Helen Popinchalk and Andy Bablo, experience the immersive installation "Where the Heck is Yucca Fountain?" at UWAM with a satellite at Sunshine Coffee. The show explores desert lore, the nuclear era, and the act of collecting. This will be an opening party at Sunshine Coffee with drink specials, with a participatory art-making event hosted at Jackrabbit Workshop in Room 170, Civic Center. The artists are experienced screen printers and will host live printing with free participation. It would be first-come, first-served printing event!

Stiching Stories: A Community Quilt Circle
Join us inside the High Iron boxcar (955 N 4th St. Laramie, WY) for a special evening of hand-sewing, storytelling, and shared reflection. As a pop-up extension of the summer quilt circle at Jackrabbit Workshop this gathering invites participants to contribute to a collaborative community quilt. Guests can choose between two projects: hand-piecing with upcycled fabrics (you are encouraged to bring your favorite fabrics or upcycled materials) or top-stitch quilting using embroidery hoops and quilt frames. Jackrabbit will provide all materials needed, if desired. Inspired by the textile works displayed at High Iron, this event honors the quiet, repetitive, and often invisible labor that shaped our region. Come stitch, reflect, and celebrate our amazing Laramie community.
